BRUCE BABA [VENKATESAN]

Based in Chennai, I’m an actor and certified model with over 5 years of experience in short films and independent projects. My acting journey began in 2021 as a junior artist, and through dedication and passion, I gradually moved into lead and supporting roles. In 2023, I played the lead role in “Nirmilla Oviyam”, which earned me the Best Actor Award at the IFH Film Festival, Bangalore. To date, I’ve worked on 11 projects, including 6 released short films, 3 as a junior artist (including the Tamil feature film “Siren”), and 2 unreleased short films. I’ve completed modeling certification at Page3 Artist, Bangalore, and trained in acting and dubbing workshops at Natchathira Pattarai, Stardaa, and Creddom. I’ve also performed voice dubbing for an animation character in an independent feature film (unreleased). Apart from acting, I enjoy story writing for short and pilot films and creating digital content. I continue to learn and grow, exploring every opportunity to refine my craft and bring authenticity to my performances. I’m fluent in Tamil and English, and comfortable performing in other languages when required. I take pride in adapting naturally to every character, tone, and dialogue, ensuring an authentic and heartfelt performance each time.
